Those great Memorial Day sales came and went….so don’t look for many price drops in June. Actually, sales are really sparse at the beginning of summer. Read on to find out what is on sale and what you should hold off on a little longer to purchase.
Deals this Month…
Dishware. Yes, it is wedding season and with it sales on dishware are out there. In fact you can save from 25 to 50% on select dishware.
Gym memberships. With good weather and beach season upon us people tend to skip the gym and head outdoors. To respond to this drop in demand many gyms will offer discounts in June to try to get people back in..
Lingerie. Victoria’s Secret, the leader in lingerie retailing has a large Semi-annual sale this month. To compete, lots of other lingerie sellers offer sales as well. It’s a great time to buy as discounts up to 50% are available.
Xbox One. If you are a gamer then checkout the $100 discount on The Xbox One available June 9. However, if you’re looking for one with the Kinect sensor be prepared for the regular price.
Don’t Buy Just Yet …
Laptop computers. School is not out in some places but some retailers are already offering back-to-school sales. However, the best deals on laptops won’t happen until the end of summer.
Outdoor items. There were some sales on Memorial Day Weekend on grills and other outdoor items, but these are gone. Summer is prime time demand for grills and such so don’t look for price drops until the Fourth of July and later in the Fall.
Summer apparel. Summer clothes won’t be on sales until August. However, you can find some deals on Spring items.
Tools. There will be sales on tools just before Fathers Day, but the best prices won’t happen until July. So give your Dad a gift card and tell him to wait until then to use it.
