Costumes. With Halloween around the corner and demand for costumes high you have to be flexible to find deals. Look at consumes from last year for discounts. Most sellers have a clearance section you can shop in store or online with good discounts. Also, if you wait to the last 2 days before Halloween you can save up to 40%. Be aware that choices will be less but prices will be lower. Also, look for coupon codes for online deals.
Grills. Sellers run big sales after Labor day with price drops up to 50%. However, prices will fall even more in October but so will the inventory to choose from. In fact you can save even more in November by shopping online through cash back websites like fatwallet.com or ebates.com with up to 6% cash back rebates.
Jeans. Items that didn’t get sold at the back-to-school sales are heavily discounted in October. Big brands that specialize in jeans will have the biggest sales…like True Religion, Lucky, Levi’s ad 7 for All Mankind.
Don’t Buy Just Yet…
Cold weather apparel. Don’t expect any deals on fall wear until November. And the best sales won’t happen until January for fall or winter wear.
Black Friday and Cyber Monday — the Friday and Monday immediately afterThanksgiving — are absolutely the times to find big sales on HDTVs. But don’t fret, because you can get big deals in late January during Super Bowl Sales.
Lap Tops computers. You’ll see some of the biggest discounts of the year during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. Prices from $200-325 for entry to mid level 15″ laptops will be common.
