Deals this Month…

travel 4Airline tickets. Fewer people travel between summer and the holidays leading to the monicker “Shoulder Season”.  Which meals you can get deals on many flights in the U.S. and abroad.  Thinking about traveling this holiday season?  Book you tickets now for the best deals…with savings in the hundreds. Broadway tickets. This month is the off-season for Broadway, which means its the best time to gets deals on show tickets.  Get 2 for 1 deals through the 14th for Broadway Week. Flowers and plants. Deals from 25 to 75% and some buy one get one sales will happen this month.  Some nurseries don’t want to store plants through the winter and will makre them down at the end of summer. Don’t expect to find deals on annuals though. grillsGrills.  This month is an absolutely great time to buy that grill you’ve been looking for.  Price drops up to 75% at big box and home improvement stores will be available.  Check out retailer websites for coupons as well.     High-end apparel. Find price drops from 25 to 85% on luxury brands and retailers like Tory Burch, DKNY, Nordstrom, and Ralph Lauren. iPhones. Prices are sure to drop on older models when the new iPhone 6 comes out this month.  Get older models from $100 down to $0 with a new contract.   School Supplies. All those back to school sales didn’t move all the inventory so look for deals on pens, pencils, notebooks and binders.  Discounts from 25 to 75% on these items and things like backpacks will abound.   Wine. Look for deals on last years wines at supermarkets and online stores as the new years wine’s get stocked.  Fall is harvest time in the northern hemisphere.

Don’t Buy Just Yet…

Appliances.  While appliances do go on sale during Labor Day sales the best deals don’t happen until Black Friday in November.  So wait to buy those washers, dryers, and dishwashers a little longer. Laptop Computers.   Big sales just concluded on laptops in the back to school sales.  If you missed these deals wait until November when deep discounts will return.
