Be An Angel Christmas Party…All Are Invited

angel_aid_logo“Be An Angel” Wine and Cheese Gathering…December 5 @ the Brunswick House, 2Pm – 5Pm

Angel logo“Be An Angel” Wine and Cheese Gathering Benefits the Brunswick County Foster Children. Last year thanks to the generosity of Brunswick Plantation residents and the Toys for Tots program, we were able to provide gifts to the 148 children in foster care. We purchased 44 bicycles and a $675 Walmart gift card to be used during the year to provide emergency needs to children. Brunswick Plantation has been the largest donator to the foster children’s program in all of Brunswick County. Please let’s all get involved and keep that tradition going!

This year there are 132 children in foster care…Ages 1 thru 18 years of age. This is fewer than last year but the ones who are in care are there because of abuse, neglect, or drug abuse by their parents. There are young and older children in care, but there are more teenagers this year than in the past. The foster children of Brunswick County need your support.

Toys and games are needed for both boys and girls. Specific requests have been made for hair dryers, cosmetics, sporting goods, and Walmart gift cards for the teenagers. Monetary gifts and gift cards are also needed to purchase clothing as well as bicycles. Gifts can be either wrapped or unwrapped but should be marked for boy or girl and what age. If you cannot join us and would still like to donate to this cause, you may drop your donation at the Facilitator’s office or put gifts under the tree any time between December 1st & 19th.

Angel103790-300x190If you can, Please join us for some refreshments and mingle with your Brunswick Plantation friends and neighbors while you drop off your gifts or cards.  Thank You!
